Inge and Gabriel Tranter’s video installation Liden Karen was part of Alert BunkerLove Festival 2013 in bunker no. 62 in the Hirtshals bunkers, and part of People’s BunkerLove Festival 2013 in the tunnel bunker at Furreby beach. The story of Liden Karen’s resistance to the overtures of a King and her subsequent death after incarceration and torture tied the traditional folk song to the themes of occupation and resistance.
