“An unpolished vocal, a highly personal musical expression and Danish texts on a most distinguished level”

These were the words of Kim Skotte from the Danish paper Politiken, after the release of Mouritz’s latest EP album ‘The last day and the first’ from 2013.

Mads is a contemporary troubadour and musician. He made his debut with the album ‘This chaos called love’ in 2004 and since 2007 has published three seminal albums with the band Mouritz / Hørslev project. With songwriting partner, author Lone Hørslev, he has toured Denmark playing in everything from community centers and churches to the Roskilde Festival and the Danish Radio Concert Hall.

With 7 different publications behind him, Mads Mouritz is now working towards his actual debut in Danish, which is expected to be released in the summer of 2016.

Mads Mouritz played a concert for the Free BunkerLove Festival 2014 in Furreby near Løkken. In 2015 he gave a concert at the Landshape Festival in Hanstholm on BunkerLove’s initiative. For the BunkerLove Festival 2016 Mads Mouritz will create the music program.
